Equal pay for women

Women pretty much all over the world are payed less for doing the exact same work as men.
In western nations such as the UK, US and Australia this is roughly 75 to 80 cents on the dollar.
But whatever the actual amount may be, any less is bad, even if it's just 1 cent on the dollar.

One of the problems is this notion that women are the "weaker gender".
Even on news channels, every time someone mentions women in a work environment, they all come with these sexist stereotypes, such as:

Women are deemed too emotional to work in stressful jobs.
Women menstruate and have PMS which interferes with their work.
The age of women is brought into the equasion.
The appearence of women is criticized.
The fact that women are the only sex that can give birth is factored in.

Women have already proven that they can do any job a man can do just as well.
Women have been leaders since the dawn of civilization (pharaohs), served as soldiers (amazones), religious leaders, CEO's, lawenforcement officers, firefighters, pilots, astronauts and so on.
So why is this still being debated after 12.000 years of civilization?

When a woman applies for higher education, she is much more likely to be rejected then a man with exactly the same credentials.
When a woman applies for a job, she is offered less money then a man with equal credentials.
Women are also less likely to be promoted or receive a raise.

It should be obvious that this is a systemic problem that exists on every level.
One of the solutions would be to have equal representation.
After all, when half the population is women, shouldn't half the government be women too?
But that would only be the first step.

The core of the problem is still the public perception that women are less capable then men, combined with a male dominated structure of power and influence that is actively working against women, to intimidate and discourage women from pursuing male dominated careers, often to the point of violence and sexual assault.

Which begs the question, just how small does your penis have to be to feel this threatened by women?
It's not an invasion of a hostile alien species.
Women are not going to take over the world and enslave all men.
So what are these wrinkly old pricks so afraid of?

If you want to constantly surround yourselves with other guys and continue to objectify women, you can do that inside your own home, where nobody else can see or hear you.
But in public or in an office, that behavior wasn't acceptable 10 millenia ago.
These people are not just on the wrong side of history, they are on the wrong side of civilization itself.

In a free and just society, you cannot allow half the population to be payed less for doing the same job, deny them equal representation and allow systemic acts of intimidation, violence and sexual assault to continue.
This is wrong on every level.
It is unjust, unfair, immoral and downright criminal.
